About the Artist

Deborah lives with her family in southern Alberta and has always had a passion for creating.  As a young girl she would exchange drawings with a cousin who shared her love for drawing. 

She worked in interior design in the new home industry and would often create paintings or murals directly on the walls of the homes to match the decor.  She also built furniture and applied customized finishing techniques. 

She decided to pursue painting full time, enrolling and graduating from an intensive Fine Art program at Milan Art Institute.

By expressing herself through her art, she creates a connection with others, to awaken and inspire them.  Drawing on the people and animals she encounters in everyday life, she transforms their surroundings through her imagination and paintbrush.  Her colorful, vibrant paintings draw the observer into the worlds created by her imagination, where there are no limitations, and they are inspired and empowered to step into freedom to pursue their passions.
